In this thesis, the author firstly introduce the background, expatiates on the greatsignificance of the research on trade conflicts and explain the reasons to take thetextile & clothing trade conflict between USA and China as the example. Then thethesis summarizes the former researches in this field, and proposes the methodologyof this thesis and finally introduces the creative points of this thesis's methodology.Following that, the revealed comparative advantage theory is introduced in details;then the relationship between the theory and the international competitiveness isproved;finally, the theory of implementing restriction on Chinese textile & clothingproducts by USA is proposed. Then, the thesis introduces the concrete situations of allcategories of textile & clothing products between China and USA from the aspect ofinternational competitiveness. Finally, the thesis combines the proposed theory ofimplementing restriction by USA and the actual situation analysis of all categories oftextile & clothing products between China and USA together to make the empiricalanalysis, and proves the theory is right. In the conclusion of this thesis, the authorpoints out the great significance of the theory once more and some places that needfurther research.
