People have enjoyed an evenmore comfortable life, and the overall national strength is enhanced as well. China isexposed to more and more tremendous environmental pressure, and becomes one ofthe most serious pollution countries. Environmental pollution will do great harm topersonal lives and cause property loss;as well as destroy biological environmentheavily and influence the offspring. It is not sufficient to solve the problem merelyrelying on efforts done by government and environmental protection sectors, butrather on overall public participation.On the basis of analysis of China's environmental protection status quo andinternational environmental liability insurance development situation, the paperanalyzes the necessity and feasibility of introducing environmental liability insuranceinto China's environmental protection system, and further puts forward severalapproaches to establish China's environmental liability insurance under currentcondition.
