Analysis On The Status Quo Of Chinese Enterprises' Investment In Cambodia

The investment environment is an important question to investors.Since the reform and opening up, Cambodia's economy have beenrapidly developing. Cambodia continually optimizes its investmentenvironment and provides some preferential treatments to effectivelyattract the foreign investment. In recent years, Cambodia has attractedmany foreign enterprises' investments and most of these companies camefrom China. Up to now, the Chinese enterprises' investment in Cambodiahas become the biggest foreign investment and been an important drivingforce for its economy. Firstly, the Cambodian investment environmentwill be briefed in this dissertation and the investment environment is thekey content to attract the foreign investment. Secondly, the Chineseenterprises' investment status should be analyzed here and the author willprobe and research into the whole Chinese investment amount, theinvestment status, the investment industries and forms, the biggestindustry invested by Chinese enterprises and some investment questions.Last but not least, the author will give proposals mainly to Chineseenterprises and the Cambodian government. The proposal for the Chineseenterprises is that the Chinese enterprises should take care of frauds whenthe enterprises invest in Cambodia and the author also hopes the Chineseenterprises should increase the investment in some industries. On theother hand, the proposal for the Cambodian government is that theCambodian government should adopt some measures to attract theforeign investment because the Chinese enterprises play a very active rolein Cambodia.
