Economic Effects Of Tourism In Chongqing

Tourism, as an integrated industry, has important impact on regional economy. It is very helpful for frame economy developing policy to research economic impact comprehensively.This paper uses some basic theories of the industry economy about economic impacts and studies the income impact, foreign currency reception impact, employment impact and industry linkage impact of tourism in Chongqing.To research the impact of tourism quantitatively, the writer uses more than one index or method, such as studying the income impact by method of SCL, studying the industry linkage impact from the angles of in-put structure, sales structure, intermediate-requirement rate and intermediate-input rate; calculating the influence index and be influenced index to study the industry affect impact.According to the result of the study above, the writer finds out that the income impact and foreign currency reception of tourism in Chongqing are obvious, the employment impact, industry linkage impact and industry affected impact is not so prominence. In order to improve the economic impacts of tourism in Chongqing, the writer demonstrates some related measures.
