Theory And Practice Of Regional Tourism Cooperation Between China And ASEAN

The economical globalization and the region integration are two important tendencies in modern world. Study on regional tourism cooperation is the core subject in 1990's coming with the need of development and many works in the field came forth. In the process of China-ASEAN free trade area construction, the tourism is not only the important content in service trade, but also the forerunner industry in the construction and development of China-ASEAN free trade area. The region traveling cooperation coordinates traveling strategy among members and fully displays the effect of economies of scale avoiding the excessive competition among regions. It also strengthens the whole region's strength and competitive ability in the international traveling market with reducing the traveling development imbalance in the region .Firstly, I researched the fundamental theories involved in the study on regional tourism. Secondly, I discussed the necessity and superiority of regional tourism on the basis of arrival analysis between China and ASEAN. Thirdly, through the study on the"Lanchan River - Mekong River inferior regional economic cooperation in tourism"at present, I analyzed its disadvantage in the process and I mainly took the reality as the basis discussing the way to development of China-ASEAN's cooperation in tourism from three aspects: cooperation and competition mode; cooperation mechanism; strategy of development.
