There is a lot of perfect effect in our domestic company, such as Haier, Lenove and so on, Knowledge Management is developing full of vitality.Management Science is the important factor that promotes the economical development and society progresses. In knowledge economical era, Management Science also enters into the new step- knowledge management. Taking Science and Technology as the background, taking the humanities as core, Knowledge Management is the new theory and method on the basis of Information Resource Management and Human Resources Management. Knowledge Management origins from the enterprise, has been passing through the nearly 10 years development, which accumulates the theory and the practice to research. It achieved the thorough development, but up to now they haven't studied it from the discipline angle.This paper analyzed the Knowledge Management development course through the thorough research of knowledge management theory; through quantitative analysis of the massive literature about KM. Therefore I propose an emerging discipline from science study angle- Knowledge Management Science.First, it introduces the basic concept of Knowledge Management and Information Management and so on, in order to make the matting for the formation of the Knowledge Management Science.Next, through quantitative analysis of massive literature about the knowledge management, using literature metrology analysis methods in scientometrics, it studies the power mechanism of the Knowledge Management Science emerging. Finally, from science study angle, it makes the localization of the Knowledge Management Science, and builds up the discipline system.As the conclusion, the Knowledge Management Science certainly can become one emerging discipline passing through enrichments and the development for one period.
