The investment of the engineering project is an activity including new build, continue build, rebuild and resume build etc. in certain time by investor. With the raise of the society productive force and the development of science technology, the scale and complexity of the engineering investment project become more and more large, and the project possesses such characteristic as long period, large amount and complex internal structure. Random interference factors often emerge in the process of its carrying out. It leads to more risk of it. On the other hand, because the source of capital become more marketable, investor attention the return of investment project and success or failure of project cause the large influence of economy, society and environment. All of these results in the demand to decision-making is enhanced. In order to ensure the real benefit, at same time, give attention to social benefit, environmental benefit and ability of continuable development, it is absolutely necessary that objective and reasonable analysis and integrative evaluation of risk be made, corresponding measure of avoiding risk and controlling cost be taken. There is very important practical significance to promote the increase of economy and improve the environment of investment.First, following the clue of integrative evaluation, the economic evaluation is introduced simply. Then, surrounding the theory, method of risk analysis, the different mode of measurement of risk, the analysis methods and amelioration used in different moment is expatiated. Especially, the risk estimate is be expounded from two point of cost and time. Based all of above, the idea and frame model on integrative evaluation of the engineering investment project is brought forward. Furthermore, some advices to how to set up the guideline on environment evaluation are given.Second, the limitation in selection of method is indicated. On the base of analysis on interaction of different sub-schemes, using for reference the similar method of partners selection of virtual enterprisers, and considering two factors of cost and time, the optimal model of scheme to minimize project-cost is proposed. By using a genetic algorithm (GA) the problem is resolved. At same time, the effectiveness of the algorithm and thepracticability of the model is illustrated with a case. Furthermore, to simplify the many evaluation indexes, the projection pursuit (PP) model is presented.At last, the project financing models are researched. The characteristic and advantage of BOT, ABS, PPP, TOT and TBT is analyzed and compared. A dynamic evaluation model of project financing risk is presented.The investment analysis of engineering project is a very complex system evaluation. The paper puts merely forth effort to provide reference for the decision-maker to select method and financing model basing on the risk analysis.
