Recently, medium- and small-sized enterprises (MSE) have got a rapid progress with the rapid increasing of Chinese economy and a series of polices enforced to support the development of MSE. At the same time, competition became more and more seriously. These make the requirement of using software to reinforce theirs competitive ability for MSE becoming more and more eagerly. This offers a good marketing opportunity for the companies that engaged in developing and selling applied software for MSE. But the market for applied software of MSE is quite different from traditional market for object-goods because of its special nature.In this thesis, we made a deeply research on the marketing strategy about the markets of applied software for MSE. We gave a basic conception, characteristics of MSE informatization and made an analysis on the status of this vocation, market environment, market characteristics, marketing strategy and method through four chapters. We also showed some feasible methods on selling applied software for MSE.The structure of this thesis shows as follow: the first chapter introduced the basic conception and characteristics of MSE informatiz -ation. In the second chapter, the market environments of applied software for MSE were analyzed and in the third chapter, the market of applied software for MSE was analyzed. In the fourth chapter, the marketing strategy and method were given. At last, we made a detailed analysis on the problems in marketing of applied software for MSE through XX Company as an example.
