In this new era of high density information, SCM, as a representative of management world, brings us many new manage concepts and methods of rearranging, designing and optimizing operation flows, far more than some new management tools. SCM takes the place of enterprises to participate in the market competition. Under this special circumstance, the enterprises long for fire-new operation patterns and management methods with higher efficiency, well benefit and lower cost, and actively cultivate an open, competitive and highly efficient market space and a good condition live space with well mechanism.With the maturity and wide application of Internet technologies, a new business activity pattern named E-Business occurs, which brings revolutionary change for business activities. E-Business technologies based on Internet are roll boosters for new generation of SCM, so current enterprises practicing SCM will face a new environment. Implementing optimization for SCM in this new environment and setting up reasonable enterprise SCM management platforms, are keys for enterprises to strengthen themselves and enforce their kernel competition capacities, which are very important for enterprises to stand in an invincible position in the severe market competition. E-Business and SCM represent the development trend of modern economy. Meanwhile, they are headsprings to promote performances and shape kernel competition capacities for enterprises.For the sake of promoting the precise cognition and scientific development of SCM, this paper deeply and systematically explored the theory evolution and method innovation for the SCM in E-Business field. The introduction part of the paper analyzed and compared the background, significance and status of both domestic and foreign research in correlative subjects and provided some novel thoughts, contents and methods. Section one introduced the characteristics and contents of the E-Business and SCM and the basic framework of the SCM system as well. The basic theory of traditional SCM and its problems were also involved in section one. Section two expatiated on the necessity, feasibility, kernel thoughts and architecture of SCM on E-Business environment and compared the differences of SCM between the environment of E-Business and traditional business. As the substantial part of this paper, section three expounded the optimization of the SCM on E-Business environment from six aspects: manage pattern, requirement concepts, technical methods, storage optimization, outsource, economies of scale and system conformity. Some schemes to optimize SCM on E-Business environment and theory foundations for these schemes were provided in section three, which are beneficial to optimize SCM for E-Business and promote efficiency and benefit of business operation. Section four looked forward the development of SCM on E-Business environmentfrom the aspect of integrative SCM and mobile SCM.The development of E-Business brings a revolution to SCM. The occurrence of E-Business has had profound influence to enterprise SCM inevitably. To achieve more efficiency and benefit, the enterprises must attach importance to advance the optimization of SCM on the E-Business environment.
