The paper briefly introduces Electronic Commerce (e-commerce) and the influence of its application on Information Technology (IT) distribution business, also analyses the present situation of IT distribution business and opportunity as well as challenge which e-commerce brings, and points out the trend of development in IT distribution business in the future. The paper brings forward three different countermeasures, and is illustrate by the strategy and implementation of the increment distribution business group of Tsinghua Unisplendour Corporation in the next three years.The first chapter: Development of e-commerce and its influence on IT industry.The section points out e-commerce will reorganize IT distribution channels by introducing the related concept of e-commerce and its reconstruction of the industry structure and value chain.The second chapter: The opportunity and challenge of IT distribution business faced with in e-commerce era.Through analyzing the current situation of IT distribution business, this section points out the opportunity that e-commerce brings to IT distribution business —The electron distributing-It improves efficiency distributed, simplify the procedure distributed, at the same time points out e-commerce brought challenges for the distributing industry-Threat sold directly to households. Also it predicts arrival of e-commerce will not make retail trader disappear, but as distribution channel supplement, and it serves the customer with distributing together.The third chapter: Countermeasure of IT distribution business of e-commerce era.The section analyses and points out the future development idea of the IT distribution business, and puts forward three kinds of corresponding tactics: The depth distribution, business transformation, value-added service. On the basis of introducing the operational approach of three kinds of tactics briefly, it enumerates the countermeasures of four major IT retailers who faced the challenge of e-commerce.The fourth chapter: The present and the future of the increment distribution businessgroup of Tsinghua Unisplendour Corporation.Take the case of the increment distribution business group of Tsinghua Unisplendour Corporation, this section analyses current opportunity and threat of IT circumstance, also analyses the advantage and inferior position. It institutes next three years' tactics combination of value-add service and depth distribution of the group, along with the detailed implementation steps.
