A Study On The Contradiction Between Subject And Object Of Management

The contradiction between subject and object of management belongs to a fundamental question in management philosophy. People studied the contradiction between subject and object of management long ago,and they advanced many good suggestions and very helpful managerial approaches. To grasp the dialectical relationship of the contradiction between subject and object of management and its functional laws will contribute to dealing with the contradiction between subject and object of management,and enhance our administrative ability. The contradiction between subject and object of management is dialectical. Their unity of opposites is an important force to propel human managerial level forward. The contradiction between subject and object of management not only has the common characteristics of contradiction between general subject and object, but also has its special forms and contents, and its manifestation is also different. Its forms are "decision-making——plan"in the process of cognition and "orgnization——domination"in management practice,and its contents are objectifiction and nonobjectifiable of subject of management. Management,cognition and value are its manifestation in management action. In the light of the evolution of human managerial thoughts, the development of the contradiction between subject and object of management also has its laws. In fact, the contradiction between subject and object of management has undergone a course in which it develops from object of management to subject of management and then to the unity of the contradiction between subject and object of management. In order to settle the contradiction between subject and object of management, we should consider the unity of the contradiction between subject and object of management as the ultimate aim. When we deal with the contradiction between subject and object of management, we must not only follow its laws, but also abide by certain principles, and grasp the ways to settle the contradiction between subject and object of management.
