Telecommunications technology are developing rapidly and telecommunications industry are reforming continuously. Great changes have taken place in the telecommunications market structures of Hunan province as well as the competitive status of Hunan Telecommunications Company. The operating income of Hunan Telecommunications Company almost does not increase in recent years and even become increasingly minus value sometimes. In order to extricate itself from the present difficult position, Hunan Telecommunications Company eagerly need expand its business fields and increase its profit. Rapid development of PAS offers a golden opportunity. This thesis focuses on expansion of Hunan Telecommunications Company's PAS business and researches whether expansion of PAS businesss is feasible and if possible, how to expand.The basic content of this article can be put briefly as below:(1). It dissertates the research's necessity and significance, also concludes the researches status and operating strategy of PAS inside and outside nation.(2). It analyzes the marketing environment, supplier, distribution channel and consumer of Hunan Telecommunications Company's PAS business, and then concludes opportunity and challenge of PAS's development in Hunan Province.(3). It compares Hunan Telecommunications Company with its competitors in own resources and competition capacity, and then induces Hunan Telecommunications Company's advantages and disadvantages in PAS business competition.(4). It introduces the successful case of PAS marketing strategy in Huanggang City, Hubei Province. Refering their advanced experience is helpful for Hunan Telecommunications Company to take correct marketing strategy.(5). It discusses the marketing strategies that Hunan Telecommunications Company should take during PAS business expansion: target market strategy, product strategy, pricing strategy, distribution channel strategy, industry value chain combined competition strategy.
