In spite of its experience as a professional producer of seamless steel tubes for several tens of years, Chengdu seamless is an inferior position in the market competition dueto its poor technical arrangement, which must be upgraded and product series with core competitiveness shall be established in this relocation, thus certain market share can be grabbed in the future market. Meanwhile, this paper has also designed the product outline, process flow scheme and process layout for the new Φ318 pilger rolling unit.The research results of this paper are of reference value to the relocation of the company and the Φ318 pilger rolling unit.
