The Effect Of Our County's Social Security On Residents' Savings

This paper mainly studies how the social security level and social security system in our country affect the residents' savings. It includes five parts. The first part is preface, chiefly introduces the research background and the research method. The second part introduces the current situation about residents' savings in our country and the effect that high saving rate produced on the economic development. The third part reviews the literature about the factors that affect the residents' savings. The fourth part introduces the current situation of social security level and social security system, analyses the effect on the residents' savings brought by the reform of social security system, and uses the mathematical model to testify that there exist a negative correlation between the social security level of our country and the residents' savings rate. At last, it points out in the form of advice that our country should expand the scale of social security, improve the social security level and complete the social security system to pull down the saving rate, encourage the national demand and accelerate the healthy and rapid development of our economic.
