| In many metropolis, the role of CBD is getting increasingly important. Since the concept of CBD was presented in Beijing in 2000,it has attracted large attentions. Beijing CBD is trying to attract more and more multinational corporations to locate their headquarters there by advancing it's modern business services, including international financing. The orientation is to develop CBD into a modern functional district that can offer the whole series of business services. After China entered WTO and Beijing won to host the 2008 Olympic Games, with the adjustment of the international industry structure, Beijing CBD is faced a new rapid development opportunity. It is urgent to promote the research on Beijing CBD.Different scholars research cluster from different angles, but in general, all of these descriptions of industry cluster base on geography characteristics and industry characteristics ,and the article also defines the connotation of cluster from the two aspects. By summing up relevant documents systematically, the author finds that scholars research CBD from these aspects, such as ecological and space structure, traffic program research, function of ground and its development model, development and evolvement mechanism and regular pattern, and the research on industry cluster seldom include CBD. Through demonstration analysis and contrast analysis of CBD, the article considers that as a phenomenon of industry space organization, the center of the function of CBD lies on its industry cluster function during the economy development, and that industry cluster should be the typical economy characteristics and important connotation of modern CBD. The analysis of Beijing CBD industry cluster and its mechanism has important realistic meanings to promotion of CBD industry development in harmony and forming function areas.Then, the author investigated the status quo of the industries distribution in the CBD and the situation of the present industrial cluster, including media industry , international finance industry as well as the multinational corporations' location. After that, the article analyzes the mechanism, under which the industrial cluster appeared, interacted and developed. Based on that, the article gives a general rating on the industrial cluster in Beijing CBD and the analysis of the existing problem.Based on this and combined the development of Beijing CBD, the article explores the means by which promote the procedure of industry cluster in BeijingCBD and point that the government have large space to do it. Then the article sets forth some advice, such as adjusting the position of the government, laying out strategy on industry cluster in CBD, choosing the development model of industry cluster, improving facilities in Beijing CBD, drafting and improving relevant policy and laws, proposing culture atmosphere of honesty and credit, competition and cooperation, innovation, improving administration efficiency etc., meanwhile, it puts forward some advice on industry lever and enterprise lever. The article builds a general analysis frame about industrial cluster in CBD, provides the foundation for further researching. It is expected to make some contributions for the development of the CBD in Beijing. |
