Study On Reason And Countermeasure Of China-Europe Trade Conflict

With the dramatic advancement of Sino-Europe trade relationship, trade dispute andconflict, which has a tendency of getting severe, is inevitable. It is considered as a sign of theenhancement of China's economy and the improvement of competitiveness of the Chineseenterprises. An active and meanwhile mild attitude should be taken to deal with this tradedispute and conflict. So, theoretically and practically, it is significant to analyze symmetricallythe reason of the current trade dispute and conflict between China and Europe, and then reacha strategy of easing all these problems.The progress of Sino-Europe trade relationship and dispute is first recalled in this article,from which it is known that trade conflict comes alongside and then increases with thedevelopment of trade relationship. The Sino-Europe trade conflict mainly reflects onanti-dumping, technical barrier to trade, unilateral limit to number and amount, entry intomarket and so on, among which anti-dumping is a major pattern. EU anti-dumping legislationhas produced a deep effect on settling Sino-Europe trade conflict. Next, the reason of theconflict is analyzed, which mainly includes the political element, economic element, interestgroup element, system element, export product structure element and trade managementelement, etc. And what is finally analyzed is the proposal of the strategy of easing the tradeconflict.Two creative viewpoints are put forward here. 1. The role that interest group may play inthe conflict. 2. The practical and operational proposals of easing the trade dispute and conflictbetween China and Europe.
