Based on the analysis of the historical development and the current situation to the trade of Sino-America agricultural products, this article makes a concrete analysis to the reasons of the trade development of Sino-America agricultural products. We realize that the first reason of the trade development of Sino-America agricultural products -comparative advantage at first. We think the trade of Sino-America agricultural products should not be simple competition or conflict question, but be a mutual supplement with each other's advantages related with potentiality. For America, it has land resources, modern technological advantages; it also has comparative advantages on such large agricultural products as the grain, soybean, cotton, etc. But some agricultural products of high value such as horticulture, livestock produce ,etc. do not possess the advantages .On the contrary, Chinese agriculture has advantages of workforce's intensive agricultural products of high value of development. So to develop the trade of Sino-America agricultural products, we must organize the production and trade according to the principles of the comparative advantages. Then we have analyzed the other reason that influences the trade of Sino-America agricultural products -the change of the consumption demand. Through the analysis, we think the change of consumption demands of China and the United States is an important reason of promoting the development of the trade of Sino-America agricultural products too. At the same time this text also carries on a concrete analysis to the factors influencing the trade development of Sino-America agricultural products. And it has put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions in bringing about an advance in the trade of Sino-America agricultural products.
