Studyon The Anti-Dumping Issue Of Sino-U.S. Trade Friction

Since joined the WTO in 2001,China keep the high-speed growth of export trade,has become the world's largest trade power,however,the international trade friction is also increasing,China has to suffered the anti-dumping serious affect.According to the statistics of the world trade organization anti-dumping database,from 1995 to 2016,the total number of anti-dumping investigations in China has been 1217,and the final measures have been 866.Frequent anti-dumping investigations have brought huge losses to Chinese enterprises,according to the China international trade commission statistics,since 1980 ~ 2016,the U.S.trade remedy investigations against China totaling nearly $30 billion.The abuse of anti-dumping actions has violated the original intention of establishing this rule in the WTO and damaged the international economic order,which is not conducive to the development of global trade liberalization.This paper focuses on the influence factors of U.S.anti-dumping and the investment effect analysis.First introduces the historical evolution of anti-dumping and the economic effect analysis,combing the procedures of anti-dumping of U.S.,and analyzes the specific diamond sawblades anti-dumping case,introduces the U.S.Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission's ruling procedure,make Chinese enterprises more clearly understand the whole process of anti-dumping.Then,from two aspects of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the influence factors of anti-dumping,using 1995 ~ 2016 macroeconomic data from China and the U.S.,through the multiple linear regression model,empirical analysis the logical relationshipbetween anti-dumping strength and macroeconomic variables.Secondly,through the case analysis of specific enterprises,illustrates the anti-dumping investment effect,so to suggest that enterprises should take active measures to reduce the anti-dumping duty rate and take effective measures such as foreign investment to avoid the harm of anti-dumping.Finally,this paper puts forward some targeted countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of enterprises,industry associations and governments.
