So, tourism industry of Wuhan urban agglomeration also has a very important position and the function in the regional political and economic aspects: Push the development of the national economy;drive the quick development of related economic section and industries;increase employment opportunities;balance regional economic development;promote the district open outward;accelerate the modernization of the society culture;raise citizen's character and the life quality;redound to environmental sustainable development etc..The SWOT analysis of tourism industry in Wuhan urban agglomeration shows that, advantage and disadvantage are simultaneous, opportunity and challenge are together. The travel transportation of Wuhan urban agglomeration is convenient, accessibility is better;have the resources foundation of developing tourism industry, tourism resources are abundant;local market, especially the tourism market of one-day travel and weekend travel is greatly potential;the industry kit ability is opposite stronger, the network of regional tourism education is opposite perfect;has late-developing advantage of tourism development. But, Wuhan urban agglomeration also exists some disadvantages: Industrial structure is reasonless;enterprise management system fall behind, tour cooperation is lack of crisis management ability;regional tourist image isn't definite. In addition, the rising strategy in central region which country implement, all levels government attach importance to develop tourism industry, national economy increases continuously, Olympic game in Beijing in 2008 and World Gardening and Horti-culture Expo in Shanghai in 2010 are held will bring huge opportunity and develop space for the tourism development of Wuhan urban agglomeration. At the same time, the tourism competition of region is more and more drastic, can't predict factors are increasing and substitutedproduct bring threats etc. all bring huge challenges to Wuhan urban agglomeration.Aim at the facts of Wuhan urban agglomeration, put forward the general target tourism industry of tourism sustainable development of Wuhan urban agglomeration is setting up its oneself tourism brand, fix on the tourist image, fixing attention on big district, developing a big market, constructing big industry, working hard to promote sustainable development of regional tourism industry. According to the theories of strategic research,puts forward the strategic allocation------"four tourism centers, two tourism belt and threetourism zone", building solid framework for tourism sustainable development of Wuhan urban agglomeration.In order to insure the realization of above-mentioned strategic target and the allocation, the thesis put forward five strategies: the network strategy, the destination image strategy, the special excellent products strategy, the marketing strategy and structure optimized strategy.
