Research On Performance Management Of Manufacturing Industry Base Value Chain

How can our economy keep continual and stable growth when we enter into WTO? The key is whether the way of economy growth can change from the quantity type to quantity type, from speed type to performance type. Moreover we should adjust the economic structure, upgrade industry, raise the quantity and the performance of the economic growth and realize the continual development. Because the manufacturing industry is important in our country national economy, and the management level of the manufacturing industry is low, so studying the management of the manufacturing industry has realistic meanings.The traditional enterprise performance management decided investigating indicator according to key cases. Although this management could improve the enterprise's operations efficiency, with the changing of the exterior environment and the complications of the inner operations, the traditional enterprise management way can not solve the performance problems in the complicated environment. Moreover the enterprise management way in complicated environment is changing to more systematized, structural and leaning. But the value chain management has the special advantages to solve the problems. So if wanting to satisfy the demand of enterprise performance management in the complicated environment, we need combine the traditional performance management with value chain management.It is important that by the value chain the business enterprise with systematized and structural thought can change the business process, remove the unnecessary and valueless key links, and guarantee the necessity of the key links in order to lay the foundation for the performance management. Then the performance management can select key links and set the index sign according to the excellent turned business process, in order to raise the whole performance of the business enterprise and guarantee the whole superior value.According to the theories of the value chain management and the performancemanagement, in this paper, we think:Firstly, we should improve the business processing to reduce the cost and waste and cancel the unnecessary business processing by seven tools.Secondly, we pointed out the principles and contents of the performance management, and thought the KPI was the good way to the value chain.Finally, by the KPI, we set up a performance investigating comprehensive system about enterprise's inner part and outer part, and pointed out its usefulness and limit-ness.
