The thesis is one of the important parts of the item supported by National Nature Science Foundation of China (NO.70472037).The mode of the green manufacturing that based on the views of sustainable development affects the design and produce in the whole enterprise essentially and revolutionarily. First, the establishment of the green product assessment system becomes very urgent from the theory and the practice, for the implementation of the green manufacturing and the development of green products. Facing the green products in manufacturing industry, we need to construct the matrix structural model which covers the green products' attributes, the appraisal targets, the every stages of life-cycle and the multi-life-cycle, and to measure life-cycle. As it is the main content of the green product assessment system, and it is the one of key problem which the green product assessment system must solve, and it is also the basis and the important foundation of the implementation of the green products' assessment.There are some main problems discussed in this dissertation as follows: (1) to clarify the interrelated concepts of green and green rate, green manufacturing and green products, and to analyse discover the process, the rule and the tendency of the product attribute evolvement;to point out the differences of the green products and general products in life-cycle attribute. (2) the detailed description of life-cycle and the multi-life-cycle process of the green products, and to determine every stage of them;and to construct the structural model of the green product life-cycle and the multi-life-cycle, then based on the analysis of the models' characteristics, to give the general measure expressions of the life-cycle and the multi-life-cycle. (3) Based on every stages' characteristic of product multi-life-cycle, and to construct separately models of every stages of the green products multi-life-cycle;To give separately the general measure expressions of every stages of the multi-life-cycle. (4) to clarify the scope and the step of themodels' application, finally to validate the models, as well as the theory and the method which the paper proposed by exemplification.The structural model of the green product life-cycle and the multi-life-cycle that this article will construct have multi-attributes, the multi-stage, the flexibility, the closed loop and the reconfigurability, and so on;and fully considers the attributes of the life-cycle and multi-life-cycle of green product during the process of constructing. The achievements in research provided relevant theory foundation and valuable appraisal methods & model system for the green products' assessment. It can be used for instructing the establishment of the green products' assessment theory and the method system in manufacturing industry, improve the green nature of manufacturing product, and strengthen the international competitiveness of the products.
