The Analysis Of Foreign Trade Dependency Of China

Kuznets comparied the foreign trade dependence of some countries from the mid-19th century to the 1970s, and than concluded that the high foreign trade dependence associated with the size of its economy into a negative balance. The reason is that small countries have small domestic markets, constrained inherent market size can be overcome only through the development of foreign trade. And big countries have great population, greater domestic market size, rapid economic growth can be promoted through the development of domestic demand. In empirical analysis, the foreign trade dependence of small economies such as Singapore and the United States, Japan and other big countries indeed confirm this conclusion.
