Content: Land-use and land-cover change (LUCC) is one of the major reasons and an important part of global environmental changes. Due to relates to the many areas of natural and human issues, so, arouses more and more many scholars' concerns, it is also the hot topic for our geography, environmental science and resource science. Land use structure refers to particular regions, economic sectors (agriculture and non-agricultural) land area accounts for the proportion of the total land area. Regional land-use structure fully reflects the land resources of land ratio in the industry with the use of inter-state relations and various types issues. Its research is the beginning of understanding of land-use, as well as full implementation of the rational use of land resources and the key links for land development regulation and effective control. The study area around the typical return farmlands to lakes region field, and the studies involve three aspects: field trips, theory and methods used and the analysis of the practical application. With the support of the land use database from Poyang Lake area and the field trips, Use the relevant land-use change theories and methods, take Poyang lake region as research object, to make the comprehensive land-use structure analysis for the typical return farmlands to lakes region and predict structural changes in the future land use trends. The main contents of this study includes:1) Analysis of the land-use structural dynamics, Analysis by using 1995, 2000 and 2005 remote sensing data to shed Poyang Lake area at different times (1995-2000 years and 2000-2005). Use land-,use change level, land-use dynamics model and the land-use transfer matrix, to make the qualitative and quantitative analysis for Poyang Lake District land-use change. Explore two different stages of land use changes, and compares two different periods of land-use changes.2) Land-use change driven force analysis. Based on analysis of Poyang Lake area land-use changes. Studies with field surveys from natural factors, socio-economic factors, policy factors and demographic factors, make the analysis of driven force for Poyang Lake area of integrated land-use changes. This article asserts the Poyang Lake area land-use change major driving factor are Poyang Lake water level changes, return farmlands to lakes policies, socio-economic development, population growth and urbanization raisd level.3 ) Structural dynamics of land-use changes forecast. Use Markov model to predict the future of the land-use changes structure in Poyang lake region. Changes in land use trends were projected. Forecast represents farmland, woodlands, grasslands, waters, will show a downward trend, and construction land and unemployed land will show a growth trend.
