| The management of commercial bank products as discussed in this article includes management of various sections in the whole life cycle of products, management of product managers and promotion of product management with auxiliary measures. As I know, up to now in China there is no special book on overall research of systemic management of commercial bank products, therefore, I have referred large amount of books specially discussing some sections and internal reference relating with their work as summarized by managers of products of Construction Bank of China (CBC), and make overall discussion to systemic management of products, and propose the concept that"management of bank products contains several processes and several items, which is a systemic project", and the auxiliary measures of product management, hopes to bring relevant managers with certain reference.It shall first define banking products before managing bank products. There are many classification methods for bank products, but the definition principle is relatively consistent and mutually recognizable, the defining rule of product of CBC is: this system or service shall directly faces clients; this system or service shall be relatively independent; this system or service shall have certain general popularization; this system or service shall have certain cost or benefit for accounting; mature and routine services are not listed into products in principle; concurrently consider principle of importance.For this research is based on CBC, I have listed product management organization structure modes in different periods and different product management functions and orientations.
