Research On Systems Of Visitor-Flow And Logistics On The Basis Of Visitor-Flow From Shanghai 2010 Expo Micro-System

In 2002, Shanghai successfully won the rights to be the city to host the 2010World Expo. It will not only bring development opportunity to Shanghai againand widen international communication and cooperation, but also createeconomic and social effect for China, propagandize and widen reputation inthe world, and promote prosperity and progress of the society.Due to many reasons, the influences of Expo have been challengedunprecedentedly, especially after 21^st century. When international events, suchas Olympics or Expo, are taken into consideration, people will put emphasis onso-called 'Impulse Effects', neglecting the operation efficiency and optimizationof events themselves.On the basis of the above points, in the article from a much rational andobjective angle, we will start from Expo Micro-System. And in the premise offorecasted number of visitors-flow, we will choose one of the important parts,which include Visitor-flow and Physical Flow, as study object. Furthermore,with help of some cases from recently-held expos, we will make full use ofStatistics, Mathematics modeling and theories from other subjects on the coreof System Engineering to make the operation of 2010 Shanghai Micro-Systemoptimized and meet demands of efficiency of logistics support system, whichincludes visitor-flow and physical flow.The innovative places in this article originate from points as below.Analyze logistics support system of Expo, using basic theory from SystemEngineering.Synthesize edging theories of many subjects to study problems.Realize optimization of Expo Micro-System operation in the method ofquantitative, qualitative way and other new models.Put much emphasis on visitor-flow and some Expo tourist-flow derived fromExpo.In the end of the article, we put forward a solution of coordinating visitor-flowand physical flow.
