All the sociologists of Scientific Knowledge believe that scientific knowledge is socially constructed. This view caused an important influence in the field of academia. Thus it attracted many criticisms to their own. The most deadly one is the question of reflexivity. It was also on this most critical step, different attitudes appeared in the School members, and it even led to a heated debate. Bloor and Mulkay think that the reflexivity problem is a contradictory, so they try to find ways to solve this problem and make themselves out of the contradictory. But Collins and Woolgar think there is no need to do so, Woolgar even think that we should develop the function of the reflective. They think that the reflexivity problem does not have a threat to their own, on the contrary, it can promote the further development of the sociology of scientific knowledge. Bloor’s and Mulkay’s solutions of the problem were not successful. The former didn’t essentially solve the problem and the latter solution is not feasible. In Collins’opinion, There is no need to study the reflexivity problem. But his views had also been widely criticized. In Woolgar’s view that reflexivity problem is not a problem. It is only a misreading to think that it is a problem. Only by reflexive study, can we have a clearer understanding of ourselves, and only by reflexive study, can we have a better development. Reflexivity makes the development of the Social Sciences as a constant self-aldeni one and a self-development one.
