The study about wave field transformation method is the advanced subject in thefield of electromagnetic sounding. With the continuous development of TransientElectromagnetic Method (TEM),wave field transformation method has attracted moreand more attentions. The Pseudo-seismic interpretation of Wave field transformationmethod has obtained a great progress with the long-term research. The method hasdeveloped and enriched the connotation of transient electromagnetic field from theperspective of the wave-field, and made it possible to access to the moreadvantageous informations about underground target body imaging,which cannot getfrom the traditional transient electromagnetic method.This paper discussed mathmatically both the optimization algorithm of forwardtransformation and the regularization algorithm of inverse transformation in wavefields according to the Maxwell function. And selected the most optimumregularization parameter by using the Deviation principle and Newton Iterativescheme, which makes the getting inverse transform wave field more stable andreliable. It is revealed that the wave fields from wave-field transformation are not nolyconsisted with the wave equation, but character with propagation, reflection andtransmission according to the numerical simulation of horizontal layered model.In addition, a set of software about data processing in Coal hydrologic TEMwere designed and writen. The program combined the actual conditions duringtransient electromagnetic hydrogeophysical exploration, used the thought andlanguages, and met the application requirements of both the geophysical workers incoal enterprises and college students. Compared to other methods, this program haslots of advantages such as simple interface, integral structures, reasonable functions,good stability and excellent applicability. Besides, it can also set parameters on thebasis of specific construction conditions and analysis and compare easily thecharacteristics of transient electromagnetic instruments produced by differentmanufactories. It can be said that the program gives a certain reference for furtherapplication of mine-TEM and improving the data processing during transientelectromagnetic hydrogeophysical exploration to mines.
