Fault deformation measurement is widely recognized as one of the most promisingmeans of monitoring earthquake precursors and seismic risk assessment tool. Currently themain methods used in fault deformation measurement have mobile observation of shortleveling, short baseline, short-range and short side of triangulation, but this mobileobservation, observation interval time is too long, insufficient response fault deformation law,may miss the precursory information.In this paper, uses Georobot and its automatic, intelligent and high-precisioncharacteristics to research automatic deformation monitoring of fault. Make automaticdeformation monitoring system based on Georobot become an important means of faultdeformation measurements, provide data support for earthquake prediction, has a strongpractical significance, also is the purpose of this study.In this paper, using TS30Georobot as monitoring instrument, Visual Basic6.0asprogramming environment, and based on the second development platform interfacetechnology GeoCOM of Georobot to study online control Georobot to complete automaticdeformation monitoring work in crustal dedormation measurement, the specific contents areas follows:(1) Use the second development platform GeoCOM interface technology online controlTS30Georobot;(2) Establishment of the Microsoft Office Access Automatic Data Acquisition systemdatabase;(3) Implementation of crustal deformation automatic data acquisition system;(4)The use of Multiple real-time differential and Helmert coordinate conversion toprocess deformation monitoring data. Through laboratory experiments shows that the study achieves the expected goal byrealizing automatic data collection by the Georobot, storing deformation monitoring dataautomatically and manual processing the deformation monitoring.
