With the rapid development of the domestic economy, the country’s dependenceon energy is increasing. The situation of domestic petroleum supply is very tense. Inorder to alleviate the tension in the current demand for oil,it need to improve theproduction of older oilfields in eastern China. Most oil fields in eastern China todayhave been in the mid-later stage of development. The reservoir physical property,crude oil properties and remaining oil distribution of older oilfields have beensignificantly changed. The original development scheme is no longer suited thecurrent needs of development, and the remaining oil distribution is very complicated.It is very difficult to dig the remaining oil and gas. Liu416block oil reservoir is arepresentative eastern old field. This paper focuses on how to develop a reasonabledevelopment plan for416block reservoir. To achieve efficient development andimprove the ultimate recovery of reservoir, the following research had been worked.1. Based on the actual geological condition of Liu416block oil reservoir, fromthe structural feature, stratigraphic features, reservoir characteristics and other aspects,the reservoir was reevaluated. It found that416fault block oil reservoir is a lithologicreservoir in tectonic background.2. The various development stages of Liu416block reservoir productionperformance characteristics was analyzed. Comprehensive determine416fault blockoil reservoir recovery efficiency of21.8%by using empirical formula method, tong’schart method, water drive characteristic curve method and other methods.3. In the three-dimensional geological model based on the coarse grid, combinedwith the work area of high pressure physical properties experimental data andproduction performance data to establish the three-dimensional numerical simulationfor Liu416fault block reservoir model. Meanwhile targeted to develop the historymatching principle and the system of history matching work. Fitting match degreereached98%through the single well and block key indicators in the fitting. Detaileddiscusses the Liu416fault block oil reservoir residual oil distribution regularity of thereserves producing status and influencing factors from the perspective of geology anddevelopment.4. Perspectives from the reasonable well spacing density, the reasonable ratio ofproducers and injectors, the reasonable injection-prouduction pressure system, thereasonable oil recovery rate, the reasonable injection-production ratio, and so on,discussed the feasibility of well pattern adjustment of Liu416fault block reservoirand the optimization of the fracturing Injection and Production System. 5. Based on analyzing the necessity and feasibility of injection restructuring inLiu416block, and multiple angles on the features of well network development,remaining oil distribution, changes of formation pressure, the degree of reservescontrolled and employed, the suitability of well network, the original well network ofLiu416block was adjusted. I formulate adjustment preferred development plan for theLiu416block with the guiding ideology which is improving the injection patterns ofthe edge and the body parts of block, increasing the points of wells and improving thecontrol degree of the small block reserves. Predicting the develop indicators of theprograms by the Eclipse numerical simulation software. The uitable adjustmentprograms of the Liu416block reservoir were optimized.
