To solve the existing problems of exploration and development in Qiongdongnanbasin YC gas field, this subject research was based on sedimentology, petroleumgeology, sequence stratigraphy, seismic stratigraphy, geophysical and othermulti-disciplinary academic theory. We made fullly use of2D/3D seismic data. Andcombined with the well data it analysed rock facies and logging facies. According tothe lab analytical data, we studied the mineral composition, diagenesis types porositytypes and other basic characters of the reservior. By use of seismic data, we started theresearch of attribute attraction, reservior inversion and modeling, realized horizontalprediction of reservoir.Integrated the results of seismic facies, reservoir characteristics, seismicattributes and seismic inversion, the findings show that: Reservoir classification andevaluation demonstrates that district are mainly type I, â…¡reservoirs, locally developedtype â…¢ reservoir. In this district, the geophysical response of reservoir properties,reservoir gas-bearing and rock characteristics are obvious, Sanya group has a certainof section on the vertical reservoir, there is obviously two sets of upper and lowerreservoir, the upper reservoir section of the study area are mainly distributed in themiddle of YC-A well and the study area near the southeast, the lower reservoir sectionare mainly distributed in west YC-A well of the strip and the block located in thesoutheast of the study area. In summary, according to research needs, carrying on the study of the reservoirin southern peak of YC gas field has important research significance and practicalsignificance for the gas exploration in this district.
