Mineral resources are the basis of industrial civilization,the guarantee of thehealthy development of the national economy.The basis of the mineral resourcesdata is not accurate,the information is not completely true,incomplete informationwill seriously affect the level of China’s mining management,affecting the planningof science,rationality and resource in the field of macroeconomic policy—making,and control the quality of mineral resources to participate in the nationaleconomy.Wide distribution of mineral resources,the existing lots of mining rightsand complex geological structure in Sichuan Province,lead to the inaccurate ofmining resources reserves,mining location and other information.Therefore,for thesituation Sichuan Province carried out investigation on the status quo of the reserves’utilization of mineral resources in2009.With the completion of the reservesutilization’s status quo investigation results,the following convergence of the statusquo investigation results and the existing statistical at base on the mineral resources(convergence of two databases)become an important part of resourcemanagement.For current management on mineral resources reserves,except thechecking at abase,there are several databases:mining rights database,mineralresources reserves registration database and mineral resources statisticaldatabase.Although each database management is better,but due to various databasesare managed independently by different departments,the links between one andanother among these databases are poor and the data update is not timely amongthem,mining rights,mining area partition,registration numbers and Soon of thecurrent mineral resource statistical database are more chaotic.In order to make the status quo investigation data play its role in mineralresources reserves management system more effectively,provide a scientific basisfor Sichuan Provincial government departments on mineral resources planning,management,protection and reasonable development and utilization. On the basis ofcomprehensive review of utilization status survey results,reserves database,registration database,mining rights database,this paper determine the mining areacorresponding relation,by space position together with the key attributes,then cleanup the database with fault,missing,repeat registration and other problems,make mineral resources reserves data more accurate and make the mineral resourcesreserves management more efficient. The main research contents and results of thispaper as follows:(1) On the basis of comprehensive review of utilization status survey results,reserves database,registration database,mining rights database. guarantee thequality of the raw data better and the space position together with the key attributesof the database, improve the cohesion results accuracy, and it avoid the sameproblem occur in mineral management in future;(2)Building the corresponding relation between the four databases, analysis andexplanation the relations of the databases. Contrast the space position andcombining attribute data comparative analysis of the spatial position of the mine ormines. then verified by the results of Land and Resources Bureau. In the end,establish an effective association table four databases, provide an important basisdata for the verification of convergence and Reserves database;(3)Through join between each database and the correspondence between thevarious database processing and problem analysis of mineral resources databasemanagement mechanisms were discussed. Make recommendations to the existingdatabase, establish a strict system of database changes, storage standards, andestablish an improve the relevant procedures. And for the next era of big datadatabase management can better explore breakthrough.
