Research On Three-dimensional Geological Modeling And Reserve Calculation Based On The 3DMine

With the improvement of three-dimensional modeling theories and technology, many excellent three-dimensional modeling softwares appeared, they offer us convenient work platforms for production design and manage, its application area has become increasingly widespread. Due to the short-time development of the 3D modeling, the mining industry continue to use 2D drawing methods,3D modeling hasn’t been applied widely. Compared with some domestic and international mining software, this article take the Inner Mongolia Dasuji molybdenum deposit as an example to use the 3DMine mining software for construction of three-dimensions model of metal deposit.On the basis of the summary analysis to the Dasuji molybdenum mining area and deposit geological feature, use 3DMine to construct the 3D deposit modeling, which includes the construction of geological database, the solid model (orebody model, terrain model)and the grade model. The construction of geological database can realize to dynamic query and manage for the mining data, display geology information in three dimensional space, and do basic statistics and geological interpretation. In the process of solid modeling, with the help of section line, control line and so on . Solid model works on researching the mineralized law, mining design and graphics display. The grade model was built on the basis of Solid model to use distance power inverse ratio method for estimating ore grade, realizing the calculation of reserves, and outputing resources report .Dasuji Mo-deposit of 3D model made by 3DMine can know about the three- dimensions spatial distribution of ore boby, it will provide the feasibility of mining technical proposal with basic technical platform. This thesis will offer an example and reference for users to build 3D geological model and reserve calculations, also find some shortages and problems in using process, to promote the domestic software keep improving.
