Study Of The Knowledge Representation Method For Bra Design

With the rapid development of new technology revolution and the coming ofknowledge economy, knowledge can be joined into production as a production factor,just like capital, labor and raw materials. Meanwhile, we found that there wereplenty of valuable design experience, parameters and examples saved in underwearenterprise. However, knowledge in companies usually distributes in the structured orsemi-structured documents and tables separately, and is lack of an effectiveorganization and management, which leads a downgrade to the standardization of thedesign, and brings obstacle to the knowledge sharing and reuse efficiency. All ofthese lead to much repeated labor and a waste of time and resources, also seriouslyinfluence the design efficiency and production cycle. According to this, it is anecessary measure to use the method knowledge management to optimize theenterprise resources and enhance the enterprise core competitiveness. In this paper,knowledge representation as one part of the bra knowledge management system wasresearched, aiming to solve the problem of knowledge representation method in theproduct designing.The research content of this paper are from the following aspects:(1) Survey about the bra design status quo. Through in-depth investigation tothe underwear enterprise and expert interview, the bra product design status andexisting problems were learned. The necessity of the subject and the role ofknowledge representation in bra design process were clear, too.(2) Doing research on the technical theory of the topic. Including summarize theconcept, theory and general process of the knowledge management, knowledgerepresentation and ontology, compare and analyze their methods, in order to selectthe proper knowledge representation method in bra design, all of which providetheoretical and technical support to this paper.(3) Study of the characteristics and classification method of the bra productknowledge. According to the bra product characteristic, a "seven steps classification"method was put forward, and combining with the multidimensional classificationthoughts, the bra product design knowledge classification system was established. Using tools such as FreeMind, PersonalBrain, established the Concept organizationmodel for "class" and "kind of relationship".(4) The method of ontology model on knowledge representation in bra productdesign building was researched. According to the knowledge of bra product design,choose OWL DL as ontology description language, and use Protégé to constructdomain ontology model. Get the ontology construction method--‘eight steps’ basedon the ‘seven steps’ optimization. Combined with bra product design knowledge, thetools, methods, and general process to establish the modeling of knowledgerepresentation were introduced, and implement the automatic reasoning andontology storage in the relational database.(5) Research the realization means of knowledge representation in bra design.Based on formal modeling of ontology, and in view of the actual demand in braproduct design, established the bra knowledge management prototype system. Thesystem were divided into nine parts, using Delphi and Access to realize input frommulti-angle and knowledge query in multimode, as well as other auxiliary functionmodules like department and personnel management, roles and rights management.The good customized ability and open end ability can meet the ability of solvinganticipated problems for the system.In this paper, based on the bra product design knowledge, the knowledgerepresentation method and ontology construction method were well selected, and theknowledge for bra design was classified, too. Do research on the domain ontologymodel building methods and get the bra product knowledge management prototypesystem. The representation methods and prototype system realization providereference method to promote the enterprise knowledge management, and give aneffective way for the knowledge search, sharing and reuse, to shorten the designcycle as well as reduce the waste of resources.
