Taken Dongyangjiang River as a example, the paper analysised the sources and the emission situation of water pollutants.On base of calculating water capacity of pollutants and statisticed and predictied the pollutants amount.The paper discussed the relationships among population growth, economy development and water environment protection and presented a way to control the urban water pollution from the macroscopic view. The methods and measures of total amount control could not only be used to supporting a scientific research for Donyangjiang River but also could be used as a reference in other regions.
