As a pillar of the oil industry has a history of nearly a century of pumping units. Oilfield equipment work in the field due to a bad environment, the complexity of the situation, it has particularly high reliability requirements. In recent years due to the rapid development of a variety of electronic components led to the rapid development of switched reluctance motor speed control system, especially in the development, research and production applications has been the basis of certain substances, after in-depth research and rational design switched reluctance motor speed control system used in oilfield systems have a great advantage.This article according to the actual requirements of the oilfield project, complete the design of the size of the motor, combined Ansoft Maxwell software to draw motor model and get the motor characteristics which is expected. Second, by analyzing the operation principle and the mathematical model of the switched reluctance motor control system model structures and simulation. Switched reluctance motor is a simple structure and high reliability for harsh environments, but the torque ripple limits its development. Therefore, the switch reluctance motor torque ripple suppression is an important research. In this paper, the Torque Sharing Function and fuzzy PID control of switched reluctance motor torque ripple control, effectively reducing torque ripple and making the motor running smoothly. Simulation using by Matlab/Simulink. Finally, the control system’s hardware and software were designed, the controller used the DSP2812.Above control strategy applied to a switched reluctance motor control system has lower torque ripple, and better able to drive the oilfield machine running, to achieve the desired effect.
