With the development of technologies, the system based on Internet of Things causemore and more attention, this paper proposes a wireless remote environmental monitoringsystem based on Internet of Things technology, which achieves wireless in the wholesystem, with high economic and social benefits.The environmental various parameters are measured by the remote wirelessenvironmental monitor system using Internet of things technology, through different typesof sensors such as pH, noise,PM2.5,Sulfur dioxide,concentrations of TP and so on. Thendata is sent through the ZigBee, each node which transmission distance up to1kmconstitutes a self-organized network, then through the network,the data or information issent to the PC. The system uses Niagara software as PC development environment forsecondary development, sensor collected data and real-time control process are monitoredin the host computer, and also available on the Internet for real-time monitoring of data. Inaddition, data can also be networked for real-time monitoring and control by handhelddevices, for example,tablet PC,mobile phones, which is flexible and convenient. Moreimportantly, the wireless remote environmental monitoring system based on Internet ofThings technology can add a variety of sensor nodes at any time and is compatible withother sensor nodes,so it can adapt different environment.Finally, we use the system to test environment, the system works properly, themeasured data meet the application requirements of environmental parameters.
