Sweater that one of most widely used fashioned knitwear was investigated. The Main design was technology design of sweater collar.The main content of this research can be divided into the following sections:This study started from sweater fabric and comprehensive analysed the design elements including yarn, color and organization. Four representative knitted fabrics of different configurations that are commonly used of and woven grey were Tested the gram weight and tensile elastic recovery performance. The fabrics performance of different configurations was Summarized.And then the relationship of fabrics and collar size was investigated. The collar size under different fabrics was obtained through the three-dimensional cutting method, and tested the influence factors of neck size used different fabrics through generalized gray relational degree method. The influence factors of size in the sweater design were Explained.And then the relationship of collar size and needle receving technology was investigated. There are different from theoretical size and actual size collar through analyzed technology of the coil structure deformation, pulling, shiftting circle and others. Then through weaving on the computer flat knitting machine, summarized the different value between theoretical size and actual size collar. So we need to adjust the theoretical size before weaving because of needle receving technology in collar size.Finally this paper investigated the variation of collar arc length with the neck width and length through the collar arc length measurement experiment. The collar arc length study provided an important reference to the pattern design of needle receving technology. And then a lot of collar samples were weaved, and their arc length was measured. The optimal needle receving technology was selected out through contrasted with the above theoretical arc length. The flat rock revolution variation of "V"collar with neck width and length was summarized and analyzed. The flat rock revolution, leaving pins of round collar with neck width and length was summarized and analyzed. The needle receiving rules was investigated through analyzed this variation. Used the object oriented programming language C#,the realization of computer technology of collar needle receving technology was developed. Through examples, the rules can not only reflected the collar shape feature, and was convenient for the actual knitting operation.
