Stealthy materials are the keys of the stealthy technology. The research of infrared stealthymaterials with low glossiness has great research significance on the reform of Long-range bombersand cruise missile. A simple and easy method to increase the infrared stealth capacity of an object is topaint them with infrared stealthy paints.As we know, Al powder is still commonly used as the representative metal pigment in lowemissivity coating field, especially flake aluminum is one of the most important pigment to reduce thecoating infrared emissivity. But the addition of aluminum powder will make the low emissivitycoatings show high gloss. In the marine environment or the sky surrounding, high-gloss is easy toexpose under the enemy reconnaissance equipment.To reduce gloss of low infrared emissivity coating, this paper firstly theoretically expounds thepossibility of lowering coating gloss from the angle of adhesive. Then a series of studies on therelationship between coating gloss and binder structure are done The main research content is dividedinto three parts: the first part is about the research on the relationship between the film and coatinggloss and the resin structure from the perspective of the structure of the resin, molecular size, paintfilm curing degree, and type of groups (including hydrocarbon groups, ether bond and fluoridegroup),group content (including hydrocarbon groups, ether bond and fluoride group) and resin kinds,respectively. The second study is about the effects on the film and coating glossiness by curing agentstructure which include curing agent type (including aliphatic and aromatic agent), and types ofgroups and group content (including hydrocarbon group, C-O bond and fluoride group). Besides, therelationship between the amount of the adhesive including fluorine atom and the glossiness of filmand coating is done. The third part is about the on the optimization of technological parameter of thelow gloss-low infrared emissivity coating.
