Coal mine multi-rope friction hoister can most satisfy the mining engineers’working environment. The bright color of the design can not only help to increaseworkers’ efficiency and release pressure, but also lower the accident rate. The designof the hoister is very competitive in our market.This article combines chromatology, psychology and ergonomics to analyzemulti-rope mining friction hoister from the image aspect. First of all, get the imagecharacteristic of man-machine-environment by using experiments, questionnaires andinterviews. Secondly, acquire the two constraint requirements of illuminationcharacteristic of the hoister and the manufacturer’s image characteristic by using themethod of field working, interviewing and collecting literatures. Then, compare theimage characteristic of the man-machine-environment and carry on the color imagerycognitive experiment by using the Li Ke’s senven semantic scale to analyze the valueof the color imagery. In the end, construct the new color image by combining thecharacteristics of multi-rope mining friction hoister and the unique characteristic ofthe machine. As a result, we get the final proposal of color imagery by interviewingthe users of multi-rope mining friction hoister and analyzing the responses.
