Furniture Redesigning Platform Study Based On Service Design

Resource conservation and sustainable development has become atheme of the times, shortage of resources, environmental pollution andecological destruction of the problem is worsening, circular economy ismentioned more, recycling and reuse of resources become a trend, themarket of design that only pursuit the economic efficiency need to giveconcessions to social design.With the accelerated pace of life，the turnover rate grows faster，thelife circle of products become shorter，so as the furniture industry。Thetreatment of used furniture is a troublesome thing to both the consumersand the environmental production departments. There is no relativelyreasonable way to maximize the use of secondhand furniture yet. On theone hand is the difficult consumption of used furniture, at the same timethe specific consumer demand for used furniture can not be met.This paper aims to combine the method of service design and thebusiness model design method, and to establish an effective serviceplatform, which can be useful to both the consumers and the furniturerecycling system.
