Dragline is a kind of open pit mining equipment belonging to the single bucketexcavator class, which is suitable for large and super large mining operation of heavyequipment. When walking draglines move, dragline body is alternately walking device issupported on the chassis and on both sides, namely the walking process is a cyclic processof intermittent. As walking device of complete walking motion process, its kinematicscharacteristic is more complex, also on the dynamic simulation study is very necessary.This article firstly introduces the walking draglines and walking device. Especially forthe research object of dragline walking device, the mechanism and movement process hascarried on the analysis to it. After the3D modeling software Solidworks to establish thethree-dimensional model, the model is imported into the multi-body dynamic simulationsoftware ADAMS. Established in Adams virtual prototype model of lifting bucket shovelwalking device, for its kinematics simulation was carried out. Movement characteristiccurves for dragline simulation to get a walk cycle is analyzed and studied.Through the kinematics simulation of walking draglines walking device of each jointforce curves, when the eccentric rotation to94°(10.48s) and283°(31.44s) stress mutation,which is identified as the two dangerous conditions. The finite element model of walkingmechanism of walking arm and the support arm is in the ANSYS finite element analysissoftware Workbench established. By analyzing the walking device in two dangerousworking conditions, boundary conditions and load is reasonable to add walking arm andarm support. Finite element models are static solution. Walking device with walking armand the support arm in two dangerous working conditions of stress condition is obtained.Know by walking arm to check the strength and the supporting arm, walking arm and thesupport arm is meet the strength requirements in the two set of dangerous conditions, butthe support arm of the maximum stress value is close to the strength limit value, so weshould support arm of the real-time stress condition to attention.The dragline is the first application in China, and China has no such products manufacturers, research on the walking device is not much, and there is no relevantinformation, kinematics analysis of its so, analysing the kinematics simulation has veryimportant meaning for research of dragline. Kinematics simulation of dragline for domesticdigestion and absorption of technology manufacturing draglines and has guidingsignificance for the use and maintenance of the equipment, to provide some theoretical andpractical reference value for the design of domestic equipment, mining machinery walkingdevice.
