The 4 cubic shovel has the advantages of strong adaptability,high production efficiency and stable work.It is widely used in large open pit mines.The crawler walking device will also be subjected to various running resistance loads during walking while bearing the weight of the whole machine.These resistance are different from the terrain and driving conditions.It is difficult to calculate the stress condition of crawler walking device under the condition of flat road,ramp straight,flat road steering,ramp steering and excavation.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Analyzes the resistance of the Mining excavators crawler walking device while walking,and selects three typical working conditions(flat road straight condition,ramp straight condition,flat road steering condition).According to the crawler driving theory,the theoretical calculation value of driving torque under three typical working conditions is obtained.(2)The dynamic simulation model of crawler walking device is established by using RecurDyn multi-body dynamics software.The driving torque value is obtained by simulation analysis of four working conditions: straight road condition,ramp straight condition,flat road steering condition and ramp steering condition.The simulation results show that the driving torque value is consistent with the theoretical calculation value of driving torque,and the rationality of the model simulation is verified.(3)The causes of the multiple faults of the Mining excavators crawler walking device(end cracking of the crawler support,spline fracture of the active shaft,journal fracture of the square shaft device,the shedding of the retaining pin of the track plate and the tensioning and loosening of the track plate)are analyzed,and the improvement scheme is put forward.This research has reference value for the modification and improvement design of Mining excavators.
