In order to improve the efficiency of low permeability of coal seam gasdrainage, high pressure water jet cutting equipment arises at the historic momentin the process of mine mining. The performance of walking department forcutting equipment affects the labor intensity and efficiency of gasdrainage directly. Therefore, the artical focus on the walking part for highpressure water jet cutting equipment.This paper aims at the dynamic simulation of the walk part of high pressurewater jet cutting equipment. First of all,3D modeling of high pressure water jetcutting equipment body was achieved basised on the compositions of crawlerrunning device and its working principles of it in UG, which includes body base,hasten promotion mechanism, water tank, oil tank and motor, and adoptsRecurDyn to establish the crawler running device, and import and assemblybody model to finish the virtual prototyping model then conduct the dynamicsimulation and analysis of the travel unit. Through the simulation analysis ofvirtual prototype drives horizontally, on the downhill and turn, under variousconditions we obtained the crawler torque, speed and force curve, and that theaccuracy of the result is validated with theoretical calculated value. Comparativeanalysis shows that turn in B/2way is the worst condition, meaning that thetrack on one side of the driver, the other side of the brake, and under this condition to complete the finite element analysis of the driving wheel andcrawler frame.Using the Workbench module of ANSYS, it complete theanalysis of walking, statics and fatigue reliability for the key parts of walking,including the driving wheels and the crawler frame. Through the modal analysis,the existence of resonance phenomenon is analysied, draw the relatively weakposition of the walking part of the key parts of equipment; through the checkingof statics and fatigue analysis, it ensures that the strength of the parts meet thereal requirements and provides important theoretical datas for parts structuredesign, selection of materials, size setting and heat treatment in the designprocess where has great guiding significance.By analysying of Walking part for the high pressure water jet, it providesthe technical basis for the design of the crawler walking mechanism, at the sametime, provides a method to study the device of other large crawler, which hasimportant practical significance in reducing product development time andshorting production costs.
