Energy and Environment is one of the key problems which restrict thesustainable development of economy of our country.The main energy in our country iscoal,there is the current situation that "high consumption,high pollution and lowefficiency".Development of clean coal technology is a realistic choice to maintain thesustainable development of economy of our conutry.Coal Water Slurry(CWS)is an important part of the clean coal technology,it isthe clean fuel based on coal (the generation of oil) that made up of about30%water,about70%coal and about1%the additive. The CWS has the advantages ofhigh combustion efficiency and environment friendly,it is widely used in combustionto produce heat,power generation and the new coal chemical industry field such as thegasification to produce the Methanol. Shenhua coal has the characteristics that largeoutput,low ash content,low sulfur and easy to combustion etc. is a kind of power coalwhich is widely used.But there is the shortcoming that poor performance inpulping,low ash melting point and easy to be slag-bonding,which affect the efficientclean utilization.This paper mainly discuss the water slurry performance of Shenhuacoal water slurry,strive to prepare the Shenhua coal water slurry which is highconcentration and good combustion performance.To realize efficient and clean use ofShenhua coal, the main research conclusions are as follows:Make use of the infrared spectroscopy to analyse the molecular structure ofShenhua coal. The result shows that:The main structure of Shenhua coal is Aromaticring structure which is rich in hydroxyl and the ether oxygen radicals.The nationalstandard of coal analysis is used in the industry analysis and element analysis ofShenhua coal, the analysis results show that:Shenhua coal has the advantages of lowash, low sulfur, low grindability index, low ash melting point, high calorific value,high volatile, high moisture and high oxygen content, etc. According to the predictionmethod of coal water slurry performance, Shenhua coal fall into the kind of coalwhich is extremely difficult to pulping,the pulping concentration predicated is61.93%.Based on the research results of Gao-xuli etc.using sodium lignin sulfonate as themain raw material synthesized the Shenhua coal water slurry additive DCS-2. TheShenhua coal water slurry experiments showed that DCS-2is not only has a gooddispersion performance,which can make the Shenhua coal pulp concentration improvefrom59%to62.3%, and also has a good stable performance, which can make the Shenhua coal water slurry no hard precipitation after three months. DCS-2use sodiumlignin sulfonate as the main raw material which is cheap, has the very high costperformance.The experiments of blending slurry show that,coal blending can improve theperformance of shenhua coal water slurry. It can make the concentration ofShenhua-coal reach to62.4%by taking30%Loudi-coal into the Shenhua-coal.And itcan make the concentration of Shenhua-coal reach to65.2%by taking50%Loudi-coal into the Shenhua-coal.Pulping experiment method was used to study the relationship between theshenhua coal water slurry concentration and the grain size distribution.Theexperimental results show that:Grain size distribution is helpful for coal waterslurry.Based on the requirement of national standards of coal water slurry particlesize,when the mass ratio of coarse particle(74μm) and fine particle(33μm)is3:1,theconcentration of Shenhua coal water slurry is maximum and Its pulping performanceis best.
