Age-forming technology has a special advantage in integral panel structureproduction of aerospace vehicle as a new plastic processing method. Developing oflarge aircraft, the need to solve the problem of the variable thickness and complexintegral panel structure forming.Overseas research showes that age forming technologyis an extremely effective method using forming such assemblies. In this thesis, solutiontreatment in an electric field on aluminum alloy before age-forming. The effect ofsolution treatment in an electric field on the age-forming of aluminum alloy isinvestigated. Anew method is developed to research age forming.2A12and7050aluminum alloy is the research object. Using self-made highvoltage electric field source and solution treatment device in an electric field. Comparesolution treatment experiment with and without electric field before age forming todiscuss the mechanism of solution treatment in an electric field on the age forming ofaluminum alloy. The effect of solution treatment in an electric field on springback,microstructure and mechanical properties of aluminum alloy are systematic researched.And the effect of solution treatment in an electric field on aging formability ofaluminum alloy is analyzed. The results showed:1)Solution treatment in an electric field can improve the concentration ofsupersaturated solid solution of2A12aluminum alloy. It causes second phase increaseand well distributed in the age forming process.Solution treatment in an electric fieldhave certain influence on springback, microstructure and mechanical properties ofaluminum alloy.Solution treatment in an electric field can significantly decrease thespringback of2A12aluminum alloy after age forming. It has little influence on tensilestrength and hardness of aluminum alloy. The effect of positive electric field intensityon performance of aluminum alloy similar to negative electric field intensity. Solutiontreatment in an electric field cause increment of dimple number and ductility of thefracture surface after the tensile test specimens.2)Solution treatment in an electric field decrease springback of7050aluminumalloy. But the springback of aluminum alloy is no change with the increase of electricfield intensity. The tensile strength and hardness of aluminum alloy is no change aftersolution treatment in an electric field.
