In recent years, coal mine accidents have occurred frequently in China, causingeconomic losses and negative impact on society. However, the occurrences of coalmine accidents are not the result of a single factor, but the interaction of multi factors. So when evaluating coal mine safety, not only is the systematical analysis of themechanism of coal mine accidents needed, but a comprehensive analysis of thecoupling effect between the factors is also necessary. This paper is conducted on the basis of a large number of papers in the literature.Firstly, it deals with the connotation and characteristics of the risks, thus giving a clearpicture of the commonality and particularity between the mine accident risk and otherrisks. Then the author classifies the risk coupling according to the different functionalmodes. Furthermore, the formation mechanism of the positive coupling which worriesthe coal mine enterprises most is illustrated.Secondly, the causal relationship between the homogeneous factor coupling andheterogeneous factor coupling is analyzed. Then the analysis of regulations of the foursub-systems interacting with each other follows, thus paving way for a better analysisof the reasons for the coal mine accident risk. Therefore, the degree of couplingbetween the risk factors can be analyzed quantitatively. Then based on the system dynamics (SD) theory and modeling methods, thecorresponding coal man-management system is established and simulation is carriedout with the help of the system dynamics simulation software Vensim-PLE. With thedegree of the key factor coupling as an example, the different key factors couplingcoefficient is adjusted and the interactional degree between the coupling coefficientand the risk level of man-management system is stimulated and observed. Theauthor also puts forward various policies and plans, compares and analyzes theseplans with he help of concrete cases and predict the future development trend of therisk level of the coal mines, thus contributing to establishing a long-term mechanismto prevent mine accidents. Finally, the introduction of decoupling and ideas, propose appropriatemanagement strategies in order to effectively manage and control the risks arisingcoupled mine accident.
