Camellia seed oil,also called camellia oil or tea oil,is the edible oil extracted from the seeds of woodyplant Camellia oleifera Abel.It contains natural and rich nutritional ingredient.But with the content ofbenzopyrene in Camellia seed oil exceeded bid badly and caused the consumers’ concerns about safetyissues of camellia seed oil. Clarify how benzopyrene in camellia seed oil is generated and in which sectionand how to strengthen controls to reduce its content is the key issue we need to address. This papermainly started the study in the generation section and effective control. Main processes are:(1)To establish an relatively simple and sensitive experimental methods: dissolve camellia seed oilsamples by using normal hexane and put through the chromatographic column with neutral alumina andanhydrous sodium sulfate, collect the filtrate, evaporate it to dry with rotary evaporators and finally usechromatographic alcohol methanol to dissolve and meter the volume and then use liquid chromatographyfluorescence for detection; The labeling and recovery test for three samples shows the recovery rate of95.85%-98.38%and relative standard deviation of2.19%-3.08%can meet the sample measurement;(2) In order to make clear what factors can influence the the amount of the benzo a pyrene inCamellia seed oil. The research take the following aspects into consideration: the source of the benzo apyrene, the raw materials, the ways of roasting, temperature and so on.We find that the amount of thebenzo a pyrene in Camellia is increasingly added by the process of constantly coarse crushing, hightemperature roasting and instantaneous crushing. The higher the temperataure is, the more the it containsthe benzo a pyrene.so it is important to reduce the amount of benzo a pyrene to a safety level by limitingthe roasting time and lowing the temperature.(3) Make clear how different process in the production will influence the amount of the benzo a pyrenein Camellia seed oil and try to analyze the damages caused by the benzo a pyrene and at last,find thecontrol point.
