Impeller parts is a kind of typical and widely used channel modelling complex parts,the design of typical parts, such as aviation engine, supercharger impeller, water pump andthe engine compressor impeller impeller, etc., involving fluid dynamics, surface modeling,and many disciplines such as aerodynamics, in the aerospace, metallurgy, casting, energy,power and petrochemical industries has a very wide application. In order to improve thelevel of production technology of impeller parts, this paper combined with the specificconditions of the enterprise production, in view of the impeller parts of five-axis linkagenc machining technology research.This thesis mainly in five-axis nc machining of integral impeller machiningsimulation, post processing as the core content, combining denotation content in theprocess of nc machining technology, such as processing and UG/CAM for five-axis ncmachining of integral impeller has carried on the comprehensive research. This paperanalyzes the characteristics of the impeller, and writing process, the processing method ofimpeller in detail, combined with the software for processing, on the basis of UG softwareto generate NC machining program, and the post processing program. Using the processsimulation software VERICUT to generate NC program verification, to find out in theprocess of workpiece machining may appear problem, avoid unnecessary loss in theprocessing, the optimization of cutting parameters. In five-axis nc machining center wascarried out on the impeller parts processing, to further validate the presented theory andthe correctness of the processing method. And use the rear processing tools to create adedicated post processing, and the tool path files into processing in NC code. This papercreated the DMG80P in VERICUT system virtual machine tools and cutting tools andprocedures, using the simulation module of dynamic simulation demonstration, spare partsprocessing and processing of parts in the system of quality inspection and tool pathoptimization, complete virtual machining is realized. In addition, this article also part ofthe theory to study the subject through the experiment verified that the design on theactual machine tool parts processing, and comparing with the results in VERICUT systemsimulation process.
