With the aging population increasing rapidly, China has entered the aging society. Society for this special group of attention is more and more high. In the furniture market, furniture for the elderly population is less and less.The ageing of population using the furniture as the research object, on the basis of this special group of psychological and emotional characteristics and actual demand, comprehensive user, user experience, furniture design and research of indoor furniture design for ageing of population in three aspects.This paper first analyzes the market situation, visited Changsha, Yueyang,Guangzhou and other furniture companies and home furnishing stores, to understand the current situation of aging population in the furniture market,understand the production departments and research institutions for furniture research status of elderly people. Study on the characteristics of emotion on the aging population in the elderly, mainly analyzes the behavior and theemotional experience of performance, the difference between the elderly andordinary furniture design furniture design differences. Comprehensiveparticularity of analysis characteristics of the elderly and the elderly furniture design emotional analysis, put forward the basic principle and method ofdesign of furniture of the elderly.
