Research And Design Of "De-aging" Furniture For The Elderly

With the continuous aggravation of China's aging population,national policies have gradually guided the public to pay more attention to the elderly.According to our current national conditions and China's traditional family structure,in the future for a long time,the elderly in China will mainly take the way of home care for the aged,which puts forward higher requirements for the old-age housing environment.The furniture industry for the elderly in China has just started,and the relevant products on the market are mainly imported or imitated products from abroad,lacking in independent research and development and production.It is this market situation tells us that this is a huge market with potential to be developed.In this paper,first of all,a large number of market research were conducted by visiting the furniture store and participating in the furniture fair for the elderly,and the current situation and development direction of the research,development,production and sales market of the furniture for the elderly in China were learned by attending the forum for the elderly and reviewing a large number of relevant literature and.Secondly,the characteristics of the elderly in our country,such as the body characteristics,physiological conditions and behavioral characteristics,the concept of "de-aging" was put forward,and the design concept for furniture of "de-aging" was suggested.According to the elderly inconvenience in living,a modular,flexible and changeful leisure chair for the elderly was designed.The design of the leisure chair fully takes into account the following characteristics of China's modern elderly: 1)more and more inconvenient activities;2)pursuit of fashion;3)the nostalgia of the elderly;4)mainly live alone and provide for the aging at home;5)meet the different needs of the elderly.The chair is designed with full consideration of its safety,functionality and convenience.It is hoped that this design concept will provide a reference for the development of leisure chairs for the elderly,and at the same time,the modular furniture design concept will also provide a new idea for the design and production of other "de-aging" furniture and improve the quality of life of the Chinese elderly...
